To the best of my recollection, the requirements for MSDBA were never "70-156 & 70-155 (VFP Desktop & Distributed) + 70-100 + elective". These exams are what got me my MCSD though. MCDBA is much more focused on SQL Server, but it does allow 70-156 as the elective.
