It was a great pitfall to get into this discussion, generally I don't participate chatter discussions :(
If you only tried to put the program down I wouldn't care much, I got your postings as you were trying to put down MVPs themselves, as being an MVP me. IOW it was me that felt insulted.
From your postings in a way you were saying what I'm doing is for gifts + recognition.
FYI I was doing exactly what I'm doing now much more before I was even aware of the program and benefits.
OTOH I won't deny gifts' value and they are motivating. ie: I might never be able to afford MSDN and probably would still own only and only VFP5 or 6. I would never be able to buy books from MSpress at my own. For many years I lived w/o them and could continue to live.
Recognition part doesn't help me much, I'm still at where I'm before and earn no less no more.
I want to apologize from you and anybody else with this opportunity for any distractions I caused and close this case.
