I tried stepping through the code. From my observation, it quickly went past the 'set filter' commands. The field on which we execute the filter is indexed. But when I come to the line 'Do Form' and press F8, it takes a long time for it to go past that line.

And as far as the other tables are concerned, they all have indices, and the order for the tables is defined as the fileds on which the tables are linked.
