I have an application that has 261 screen files and 193 report files in FPD 2.5b format. I want to convert them to VFP 7 format to save having to duplicate them from scratch.

When I open the project file they are in it asks me if I want to convert and if I say yes I get the following:

On the Visual Foxpro Converter screen:

I uncheck Backup Files ( I am already working with a backup )
I choose Functional Conversion

On the Visual Foxpro Transporter screen:

I have tried leaving everything at defaults and also each of the three radio buttons.

It will process a few files and then come up with this error:

An error occurred in the Converter and it cannot continue. The error has been logged in d:\testdir\error99.log. Open the log file?

When I open the log file it contains something along this line:

Fatal Error in Converter:
Error: Cyclic relation.
Error Number: 44
Method: allothers
Offending Code: SET ...
File being processed: PREFBILL.SCX

I have also tried opening both SCX and FRX files one at a time and converting them that way ... this works for more files but still gets the same errors on the bulk of the files ... and not the same ones.

I have searched MSDN, web, UT and other places and have not been succesfull in finding any reference to this problem.

FYI ... I have tried using VFP7sp1 and VFP6sp5.

Any pointers would be HIGHLY appreciated.
