Thanks, I hadn't thought about packing the .frx tables. I haven't done that in a while so I'll give it a try.

This has occurred sporadically (maybe 1 out of 1,000 times or so) with several of the 100+ reports in this application -- rarely the same workstation or user (and only once to me -- I thought they were making this up!) No table in the database has the number of records shown in the Copies box. Most have under 10,000 records while a few are in the range of 500,000 and up.
