No Problems. I tend to do the same some times.
>Perhaps you can, indeed, have things execute on the server, if you set up VFP as a server and access data through ODBC. I was thinking about the system I currently use, but I am not using SPT, nor am I setting up VFP as a server in a client-server scenario.
We have the database located on our network. All the '.exe' access it through the VFP ODBC. But I think it's too slow. Data retrieval is not done correctly. The querys are tweeked to be as fast as possible. But still I'm not impressed.

>Note also that you have some free options for C/S (apart from setting up VFP as the server), which you might at least try for testing purposes: MSDE, MySQL, and PostGreSQL are often mentioned. It seems there is a free version of InterBase, too (from Borland).

There is an ORACLE server here. We will migrate our data to it. This means changing the querys to access that database. I want to take it a step further. The Stored Proc.
