Yes, if you use a view or sql generated cursor, you will get the related data from the different source tables into a single cursor so, the listnavigator will the work as you expect it to because everything it needs is coming from the same cursor source.

>or should I seriousely just consider a Grid. I am not opposed to using a grid - and as matter of fact a grid will be required on another child form I will be building in a day or two.

It depends whether it is more work for you building the grid or adding a view into the mix (and the CDE <s>). With a grid, you can easily utilise your existing data set but its fair to say that grid building can be messy and time consuming. Either way, its down to your own preference. You probably have more control over the appearance using a grid than using a listnavigator. For example, a listnavigator using columns tends to centre the data so say you are displaying numberic data, the output can look a bit silly. So, then you start having to use mono-spaced fonts and adding leading spaces to right align number. If its all character based data, then it may not be too bad.

Choice is yours. Either way, I can help you with your grid style navigator if you want.
