Oh put the sample I sent in first message to a DBC that you create - say myDBC.dbc. Then :

open data myDBC
GetCustomerDetails('BERGS','myCheck')
select myCheck
browse

You might need to edit define pointing testdata.dbc location. SPs are no different from simple functions (take precedence even when you have a function with the same name provided dbc is current - ie: a default value would check it from DBC SP first).
