We are having a problem with an existing VFP6 application with new remote views to a SQL Server (2000) database. The application has both tables in VFP and now has tables in SQL Server. We had to migrate a few large tables up because of the limitations imposed by fox.

We are having a lot of problems, and are in need of some advanced troubleshooting ideas.

The views will not allow multi-row updates within the running application. We have everything set as it is supposed to be, and can iterate through the table a row at a time and save with no problems. We can also open the views and update manually (multi rows or single rows) and have no problems. There is something in the application framework that is screwing things up, and we can't find it.

There were no problems with the views when they were local views of VFP data, but now that they are remote views, things have changed. We have made every change possible and every combination with the cursorsetprop and dbsetprop commands, without any luck. This is really causing havoc... any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Just throw out personal experiences, etc.

TIA
