>I've just been reading "SQL Server (2000?) Unleased," I think from Que. I've been very impressed with it. A good level of depth, without being condescending or confusing. Not sure if it goes into all of the internals as thoroughly as you need, but it does seem to cover at least a solid foundation of everything and points to additional reading on the topics.
