I know, because we discussed Filter problem in another thread with Ria quite recently. I suggested to use Browse command if she(?) doesn't want to forget about filters and switch to views...

I know for sure, that if Filter filters only small amount of records, grids become painfully slow.

Another advice would be to switch to filtered index. It works much faster, than filter...
