A product that does work in conjunction with Five Win apps is CodeBase; they offer an ActiveX component compatible with VFP that handles many Clipper-related issues, including variant field formats, interfaces with several RDD libraries and a number of locking schemes that have been exploited by Clipper developers in the past.
