I uninstalled it. It was in the list with TCP/IP - but before you start, check the link posted below.

I removed it because on XP Home (I've since upgraded to Pro). QoS defaulted to 20% of the pipe (Xp Pro may do same). And, could not be zero-ed through the dialog. With XP Home - you are stuck with that setting, unless you uninstall QoS. So the short is: You don't have to un-install on XP Pro, because you can administer the flow through the QoS pipe to zero. But you can also uninstall (and reinstall later). I guess MS don't want production traffic interfering with banner ads :-) (just kidding!)

I opened XP's QoS Help, cause it has been a while since I fiddled with it. Control Panel->Network Connections->Local Area Connection. The TCP/IP, however, is a property of my "NetWork Bridge"
