Hi Ounis

The status message "attempting to lock..." occurs when a user is trying to change a record which is locked by another user. *Not* when exclusive is on. If a user has a file open exclusive then you get an "access denied" error if another user tries to open the file.

Check that when the first user starts the app that he is not somehow locking a record of a file using RLOCK(), FLOCK(), or by editing something in a record that the next user also needs access to.
