Hi,
I accept what you are saying but I have found that when I have a problem with the indexes it is often not solved by issuing delete tag all and is only solved by deleting the index file itself. Possibly this has something to do with the fact that the table concerned has not been in use when I have deleted the index file. I have not tried issueing delete tag all and then releasing the table and opening it again before adding the indexes back in. Perhaps that would make a difference. I'll try to find a corrupted table (I think I've a copy of one) and see if it works.
