For those who don't use A4 paper, the physical width of the paper in landscape mode is 29.7 cm and the normal "printable area" width is 28.7 cm.

Our experience, using XP Pro SP1 and VFP 5 through 7, is that if we ask VFP for a brand new report.frx and then set it to landscape mode, the printable area width reduces to 27.6 cm and it will not allow any change. I.e., changing from W2000 to XP causes a loss of 1 cm.

At first we thought there was a problem with our report objects when clients said they were missing the right hand side of their reports, but the problem seems to be generic.

Can any other Landscape + XP users confirm this?

We wondered whether it was an issue with the Regional settings within XP or something to do with NZ's nuclear free policy, or the approach of Halloween. Shame on you Microsoft, I say!
