Dan,
I've tried all the suggested methods, the indexes still get corrupted. What's weirder now is that my form's .SCT files (which I distribute by excluding from the exe) are also being corrupted.
I found a case today where for one of the forms , the names appeared as follow: -
formname.sct
formname.scx
formname.sct0

The first and last item above corresponds to the same sct file but the last one (which is also the correct one based on size and date) has a funny zero added to the sct extension. Tried to rename/delete the last file but got the message "system file error. Cannot rename/delete file" from windows explorer.

Scan it with the latest Norton path and found no virus.
Could this be an indication of an impending harddisk failure or bad sector etc or Novell problem?

Any help would be appreciated.
Yau
