This is just a simple message to talk a little bit about the past first/four performance of Jeff Hackett, the 2nd Montreal Canadians hockey team goaltender.

As some may know, Jose Theodore didn't have a good start. So, is the team in general and a few isolated situations here and there. However, in the games he played this season, he wasn't as good as last year. Well, it's difficult to be as good as last year but at least, there is some steps to escaladate here as it suffers from a performance issue so far. So, that brought Jeff Hackett in the goals for 4 games so far, in this earlier start of the season, and guess what - he got the first star at all times, which means a perfect run at 100%.

Now, for those who don't know the pressure of the media in Montreal, here's something I find funny. I personnaly find no problem here, as for this particular situation of having the 2nd goaltender to be part of some games when it is not going so good with your number one goaltender. But, the media does. Now, some says that Jeff Hackett has to be traded to another team as he's too good compare to our number one goaltender and this may cause a problem. Hacket has a salary over 3.5 million and a half if I remember correctly. So, yes, I do expect his performance to be very good when he plays in the game. So, why are they trying to resolve a problem when there is no problem. I mean, if you pay that salary to a player, you expect he'll play in regards to it as this is what justifies it. So, I would also consider that a big plus to have a very strong 2nd goaltender in the team that can come up and play in some games when it's not going that well for your top goaltender. But, as it seems to cause problem of distraction to your top goaltender as now the 2nd goaltender is too good, some want a trade to happen. Can you believe that?
