Tracy;

The programmers were too self-centered to see the handwriting on the wall. Pre IPO – we are going to all be millionaires! Greed clouds the eyes and fills the hearts of many. The problem with the .COM group was total GREED, and the inability to make a profit. Who can make a profit when you do not have a business plan? That was normal.

I talked to many owners and programmers who were a part of the .COM craze. The investors were also greedy as they wanted to "cash in on the Internet explosion" - e-business and all the buzz words that go along with it.

Look at Warner Brothers and AOL. Greed got the two together. AOL will rule the world! Today AOL stock is worth about $2.00 a share.

Due to the problems of getting parts at our plant, the company had a meeting with the union (UAW) to discuss the issue in detail. Our company and union are working together to keep the plant open and the people employed.

Too bad the ILWU and PMA cannot sit down and resolve their issues.
