Is there any way to work with masked dates bypassing the regional settings? I know there is a way to do it via API calls but I would rather find a simpler way. If 2 digit years are used (i.e. mm-dd-yy), and a user has regional settings of yy-dd-mm then the dates are inserted into the database incorrectly backwards. For the meantime I am considering just switching everything to dd-mmm-yyyy but users tend to complain once I take away their 2-digit years. Anyone know of a solution?
