For HTML and DOC, check out frx2word in the UT downloads sections. It required Word be installed on the computer running the report.

For Excel, instead of sending the report to Excel, you can just send the data.
SELECT myReportCursor
COPY TO MyExcel.xls TYPE XLS

Also, in the UT download section there is Rep2Excel, but I have never used it.
