Question....I notice he said "....We would like to be able to include networking functions for sending orders/transactions without a hotsync as well as the ability to print invoices or tickets to networked priters without going through a PC. ....."

Seems to me that if this is going to be for a resturant that these people are not going to want to be paying for airtime on all these handhelds the whole time these people are using the devices, cost-wise it probably just isnt practical. Is there some way to do a wireless LAN connection on these iPaq's or other handhelds???? (or am I simply confused about the whole concept here??)
