I will agree that MS never seemed to promote VFP the way we all think they should. This is YOUR problem, and not your new director's problem, right?
But, really, I don't see much difference in how they promote their other languages (allowing that .NET itself is NOT a "language").

There was a hint (and maybe I read too much into it) that this could change with VFP8. KenL specifically mentioned Delphi (as well as Clipper) as being 'targets' for VFP8. This being the case, there may be a need to promote VFP8 to those people if there is to be hope of realizing this goal.
