>Well, having used Fox products since the early 80s and currently using both VFP and Delphi on a regular basis now, the Delphi sell will be difficult. The biggest hurdles are web-development and the fact that Delphi is not an interpretative language and has less overhead.
I've never laid eyes on Delphi code. But I can imagine that any of its adherents are likely as devoted to it as others (like us here) are to their chosen language.
Web development I can see as a problem in getting converts. But surely less overhead and non-interpretative are non-issues by now, given cheap RAM and HDs and ultra fast cheap processors. I wouldn't be too surprised if interpretative (or similar, as I understand .NET to be) are the norm before long.

There's one that's not going to make it an easy sell, that's for sure!
