Each Office app has a VBA Help file that's actually pretty good. The names are in the form VBAappn.CHM, so Word 2000 is VBAWRD9.CHM and Excel 2000 is VBAXL9.CHM. You may not have installed those files with the product-they're not part of the standard installation. You can try to access them through the main Help for the product-near the bottom of the Contents page is a topic like "Programming INformation". When you try to get the VBA Help from there, it'll prompt you to install it.

In addition, I know there are some examples in the libraries here, but I don't know the specifics. Also, Della Martin and I wrote a book about automating Office-more info at www.hentzenwerke.com.
