I'll bet it works from a .EXE, but, it needs to run from a .dll. I've seen this in VFP7sp1,win2k pro (does yours work in 7sp1?). Ironically it worked from a .exe and ASP.NET! At first blush, I would say it's a security issue, but, it definitely isn't clear cut...
