In order to make adding records easier I want to allow non_PK fields to be null. Naturally, when accessing them through SPT they show their null value in the forms.

Is there a way to make them appear "blank when null" in the form, yet behave reasonably. By that I mean: if not changed they remain null; if changed they take the new value; if made blank they take appropriate value such as 0 for numeric. NVL() will not work in this case, I believe.
