I was lucky to workaround some of the related issues within 4 hours. I agree that this is the worst SP released since a while.

Yes, but, we don't expect that from a service pack. It's just a shame that such a reaction applies to SP3.

We've been used for years that those SP were bullet proof. This one is really bad. We have some test servers but they do not exactly have the same configuration. So, as it seemed to work ok on them, we moved to the production servers. Then, later, we found out that some specific issues in regards to Components Service have been affected. So, until we find where the problem was, it took a while.
