Tracy;
Thank you! I have been trying to get more information for years on “Victor”. Your URL lead me to:
http://www.edisonnj.org/menlopark/vintage/victor.asphttp://www.cyberenet.net/~kelta/camdenrecordedsound.htmlSo far I have:
1. Victor created a company in Japan in 1927.
2. RCA bought Victor in 1929.
Now I am on the trail of information about Dalmo Victor. Very interesting information is being gained along the way! Talk about memories!
I have worked at some interesting places during my working career.
1. Secode – San Francisco – first mobile telephone manufacturer – they started in the 1920’s. I started a "bit later than that"! :)
2. Dalmo Victor – LEM/Apollo and F-111
3. Ampex – Audio/Video and computer technology.
4. NUMMI – Toyota/General Motors.
Each one was or is a leader in its field.
