Hi

We have a workstation (IBM netvista 1.8) who make lot of calculation using hundred of program. Since two day we have an error C000008E this is a division by zero. This computer is running under NT 4 pack 6.

First thing - It's really impossible to check all program to manage division by zero

Second - It's impossible to move to Windows 2000 or XP. We are part of a big company and they have a very strict policy about computer. All the computer must have the same operation system (for now NT4 pack 6).

We ask to the department who manage all the workstation to format this workstation and reinstall all the standard software. First this was working but as soon we reinstall some of our software like dynazip the error appear again.

Usually those calculation where done with VFP 6. We try VFP7 the same problem is there. We also try to put pack for VFP6 and VFP 7 nothing to do.

What we need is a way to patch NT4.

Michel
