This typically happens because your cached copy of the Web Application does not contain the project files. To correct this issue, delete the web cache for the project on your local machine. If the problem occurs when you try to open

http://<myserver>/<myproject>

, then clear the web cache at

c:\documents and settings\<user>\VsWebCache\<MyServer>\<MyProject>

folder.

This should take care of your issue. The cache will be rebuilt next time you open the project locally.
