I have serious performance problems with a VFP app that is running on Novell.
The app accesses VFP tables (some of them rather big) on a Novell server.
Workstations and servers have 100 base T NICs, interconected by ethernet switches. Network has about 100 machines.

The app works ok on a Windows-only network. (Nt or w2k servers)

I made a simple test: Opened a rather small (35 K) table on the Novell server with VFP from a workstation, then issued a brow command. It took about 5 seconds to show the table. Far too much.

What should I check or tweak on the network to diagnose (and hopefully solve) the problem?

I do NOT want to modify the app -- it just runs fine elsewhere.

Ws are pentium II / 64 Mb RAM / W98
Server load is not high.
