I tried this:
1) I added "common.chm" in the merge tab of the project.
2) I tried your method to insert the table of content (common.chm::\common.hhc ) and also (common.chm::/common.hhc )neither worked.
3) So instead I inserted the content using what it's said in the helpworkshop (insert file), the line look like this: INCLUDE:common.hcc

As a result I get the table of content OK from both chm files but when I click to a topic I get "THE PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED".

What am I doing wrong?
