I agree with what you are saying. But if you have a long development cycle (ie, not planning to release a product until late Summer or after), it should be NBD. Also, it might be a test project to get feet wet in VFP8, and a large break between Jan. 31 and actual product release could be frustrating.

But the fact there there is a public beta is FANTASTIC!
