I have a Verizon mobile phone where I just went to their web site and selected some options that will send me a text message anytime a goal is scored for whatever teams I am interested in [i.e., Dallas Stars]. It may take a few minutes after the goal is scored, but I do receive the message. Maybe your phone service provider has something like that.

>As oppose to the MLB where the standings, averages and other related stats are updated instantly, the NHL takes several hours after all the games have been completed to release their stats. Anyone found a place where we can get the scoring standing as soon as goals are being scored?
