Which class are you using as the grid that's launching the edit form? You should be using a CListObjEdit grid. If you are using this control, make sure you're not overriding methods in the grid or the grid container. Behind the scenese the grid is setting and clearing LockScreen to achieve the "full width" highlight bar effect.
