I am used to using pcAnywhere for remote control. Can I actually use it to connect to the internet? The file I need is placed on an FTP server... using a simple batch file and FTP commands / script I am able to download the file. The FTP server does not have pcAnywhere, but the W2K workstation does have pcAnywhere... I am really green when it comes to pcAnywhere scripting and how it would work to accomplish this. I was hoping to use VFP to check the date of the file (use ftp to do a directory to a text file and use VFP to check the contents of the text file) and then cancel the download if the file is the same as when it was last downloaded.
