have you thought of wwipstuff from West Wind?
http://www.west-wind.com/wwIpstuff.asp>I am writing a simple VFP program to transfer a file over the internet. I have everything working except my client uses a modem to connect to the internet. Is there anyway I can use VFP to instruct dial up networking to connect and then disconnect when done? I know I can use VFP to load internet explorer, and if set to dial everytime this would connect to the internet. And then I could use idle settings to force a disconnect after say an hour. But is there a more elegant way to do this? In some cases, after checking file dates, I would like to force a disconnect after like 2 minutes. My client is running Windows 2000 SP3 and I am using VFP 6 SP5. Thanks in advance for any help!
