Hi!
As Tamar pointed, VFP7's approach for transparensy is not a white color. It was a big obstacle and defect in VFP6/VFP7, because I was unable to use white colors in the image.
Correct approach for transparency in VFP7 is use of MSK files that describe black (transparent) and white (not transparent) areas, if I remember correctly.
In VFP8 you can create a GIF image with transparency and that's all :-)
HTH.
>I love the repositioning the pictures on buttons. But now all the pictures that I have dont have any transparency. In VFP7 if you used white as a background color it would just make it transparent. Now vfp8 acutally makes it white. I tried a transparent gif and that comes up as a black backround. Any ideas or is this a bug?

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs
It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
