That really is a tough one, Tommy.

I'm all in favour of taking steps (any) that contribute towards making the whole environment cleaner and purer. It can only help things!

As for "global warming", I remember being taught that virtually all of Canada was once covered by one HUGE ice sheet, some say measured in kilometers (2-3). Even if I settle on 50 meters thickness, what melted that??? Was it "global warming"? I guess it was. What caused that?...Is that 'event' still on-going?

Our history here is very short and our record-keeping is far shorter. It seems that we could be jumping to conclusions about the issue.

We (collectively) are fond of tampering with mother nature, relying on ourselves rather than her 'systems' to address "issues" (as we perceive them). This happens all the time. I remember outcrys and actions regarding zebra mussels in the Great Lakes, purple loosetrife(sp?) in southern Canada, and several other issues of "foreign" wildlife overtaking native things. In the end nature handily addresses these things.

Just some confusing thought I have from time-to-time on the matter.

cheers
>Yeah.... global warming's a B****H, idn't it???!!???

>>A storm hit us last night – with winds of 78 miles per hour recorded in the Bay Area, and 100 miles per hour in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Seven feet of snow will fall in the Sierra from this storm.
>>
>>A few houses are sliding down hills in some areas, with power outages, which affected 260,000. The storm will be over some time Saturday they tell us.
