I have a system here running as a web server (VFP7 and web connect). The biggest table has 745,000 records. I have not done a reindex on that table in over a year. No problems whatsoever. The web server is in our computer room (you know, the ones with raised floors, sterile hospital look, and freezing), that has redundant power supplies (and redundant air conditioning units). No outages are allowed to touch our machines. :)
