Right on. No matter what happens with the inspectors, and today's UN Council resolution, I expect war by next February.

Is a war justified or justifiable? Not on the current evidence I've seen so far. But as Tracy pointed out we don't get to see the evidence.

Why is Iraq more dangerous today than it was, say 5 years ago? Was Iraq responsible for 9/11 or in any way tied to Al-Qaeda? Not that I've seen reported and proven anywhere. Is this about oil? You bet!

Dubya said there was an Axis of evil. And that either you are against terrorism or for it. No middle of the road here.

Yet, there is not a peep against Iran or N.Korea, both in the list of nations that favor or help terrorism. Hell, North Korea publicly admitted that they have a nuclear weapons program a couple of weeks ago? Are we preparing for war against them? No. Hmmm... do they have oil? No.

Saudi Arabia just said that we cannot use air bases in their country (even though we built them). Some friends.

Ashcroft announced yesterday, in Niagara Falls, that citizens from a list of countries that include Syria, Sudan, Iran, Iraq are to be fingerprinted upon entry to the USA, even if in transit. Sounds like profiling (racial, religious or otherwise)? If there is a list of nations that we do not trust any of their citizens and are to be fingerprinted or followed, the list should also include Borth Korea. How about Vietnam and China? They are communists there too, aren't they? How about Cuba? Shouldn't we fingerprint cubans too?

This is to show how dangerous this administration's thinking is. Does anybody remember J. Edgar Hoover? Or Senator McCarthy? Haven't we learned anything?
