I can only elaborate by way of saying that a table with varnish is in some ways different than a table without varnish. Sorry I can't use programming analogies. But arguably, the table is the same, or is different depending on how it reacts to somthing you may want to do with it.
When viewed online, the magazine reacts as if it didn't have the varnish, whereby I can highlight and copy a portion ot text; the magazine in the executable format I purchased and downloaded appears to have the varnish whereby it does not allow the highlighting of a portion of text and thereafter copying it to Notepad, Word, etc.... I hope this analogy is sufficient to explain what I mean.
