Hello, I am trying to apply the code you suggested for the Acrobat 5.0 problems.

lcPfile = "C:\somedir\mypdf.pdf"
lcTempfile = (FORCEEXT(lcPfile, "tmp"))
REPORT FORM myreport TO FILE (lcTemlcPfile) NOCONSOLE
RENAME (JUSTFNAME(lcPfile ) ) TO (lcPfile )
ERASE (lcTempfile)

My question is on the 3rd line of code. I am not sure if i understand what you are doing here, It appears to be a new variable reference. I would appreciate any clarification and appologize if it is my inexperience.
