Paul,
Please send this information directly to Ken Levy (
klevy@microsoft.com). He has stated that he wants to be made aware of any of these types of situation so he may enlighten those who are obviously misinformed. Microsoft announced VFP 9 during DevCon in September so it's obvious that VFP is still alive and will continue beyond VFP 8.

>Gosh I hate to even bring this up...

>A potential client (who also happens to be a big FoxPro fan) expressed some concern the other day because "one of the guys at the Microsoft booth at comdex told him Microsoft would be discontinuing VFP because it wasn't .NET compatible."

>There isn't any
official word to verify that is there? It seems like somebody from microsoft tells somebody that VFP is going to be discontinued at least once at about every conference.

>Anybody know what's on the roadmap beyond VFP8?
