Vlad,

Thanks for the input. I've finally had time to get back to this problem.

First let me say - VFP 8 totally rocks!

The C0000005 fatal error is caused by setting the Grid's MousePointer property to 1 - Arrow. I set this property in my base grid so moving the mouse over any of my application grids causes the error.

Can someone else please try this and confirm the same results? I'd like to know if it's just me getting this error.

Thanks

After recompiling in 8 however everytime I move the mouse pointer over a grid I get the fatal error. It not only occurs when the pointer goes over a column or header but even over the grid itself. I did have code in the MouseMove procedures of the Header, Column and Grid to set the grid's MousePointer property. I have removed the code from the grid and removed the procedures from both the Column and Header classes. This has not helped...
