>Now that's an idea! Like drawing a line in the sand and no one steps over it? What about the problem that the some nations have already funded and provided training for those future terrorists that will attack us? Do we give those nations immunity for all actions down the road because the support came BEFORE the line was drawn? interesting idea though...
One thing is not clear to me - how is Iraq a threat to world peace, while Israel is not? Their record on warfare in the last few decades is roughly the same. Then, how is Iraq supporting terrorists, when it was published that most of Al-Qaida's funding came from Saudi Arabia? Why is it wrong that Iraq is oppressing Kurds, when it's done nothing differently from what Turkey is/was doing to Armenians and Kurds, and Turkey was never even threatened with sanctions?
I mean, the allegations against Iraq would be taken much more seriously if the same standards would apply everywhere. Otherwise, I'm getting to believe this really is mostly about "they are sitting on
our oil".
