While I understand your desire to support your friend, assertions like
"Numerous naysayers will deny that VFP is in a decline"
are an example of the sort of claim that caused so much strife around JVP. We are presented as a pack of luddites who are assigned idiotic beliefs and are to be pitied because we cannot see the sun rising as the prophet warned us would happen.
