This could not be further from the truth. Crystal may use VB to illustrate examples of how to use the RDC in code but you are most definitely NOT limited to only using it in VB.

You should check out Craig's site on getting started on the RDC. The RDC is basically an object model whose methods and properties you make use of, just like any other object.

I had also originally used the OCX back when I was still on Crystal 6. There are definitely code changes you will need to make to work with the RDC but I feel it's worth it. The Crystal folks have already made it clear that the OCX has not been updated since version 6. It would be worth your while to get out of using technology that Crystal itself considers dated.
