If the market is so healthy they could probably convice a publisher to put out a book The market is thin everywhere. The brick and mortar's are jam packed with productivity support stuff for up and coming mid-managers, sleek mahogany desktop guides to SAP, ASP, "The New Economy" and other stuff too geeky for me.
Is being an over the counter commodity in the strip mall a true indication of value?
Spending time in group therapy reasoning my fears with others about SW market trends is not what I do (at least i don't think it is!). If the world comes to an end tomorrow, should I change the way I behave today? Will extra spam and bottled water make the inevitible more tractible?
Anyway from what I can see people here seem to ignore the facts and trends of the market. Hopefully it wont be too costly for them in the future.I am glad Johns okay. I am glad to know that someone out there is analyzing market trends. But [really], the only market that counts is my market. They don't care about trends - they want their
meat and potato issues managed. Right now - the best bang for the buck is ME and VFP (damit)!
My market is
into enjoying the fruits of a satisfying professional relationship with me. The best thing I can do for them is develop their solutions in VFP.
